Technical Specifications:
Introduced in March 1987 along with the Mac II, The Macintosh SE had many new features, never before seen in a Macintosh. It was Apple’s first affordable computer to have two 5.25" drive bays, giving the user the ability to have ether two 800k floppy drives or one floppy drive and a 20 megabyte hard drive. It was the first Mac to have a PDS expansion slot, allowing the user to install third party hardware cards such
as an Ethernet card. It sold in the dual floppy drive configuration for $2,898 - more with the hard drive.
